When travel the West Lake in autumn, you can enjoy the sweet-scented osmanthus in the daytime and the full moon at night. Manjuelong in the South mountain is the key osmanthus enjoying sites of Hangzhou. The sweet-scented osmanthus is a city flower in Hangzhou. Since the Tang Dynasty people became to cultivate the sweet-scented osmanthus in the West Lake. In the early poem about the West Lake , the sweet-scented osmanthus had been already in, but it was planted in North mountain’s Lingyin of the West Lake and the temples in India. However, people appreciated the sweet-scented osmanthus in Manyuelong, which was since Ming Dynasty.
